Monday, October 7, 2013

First Christian Church in Greencastle is offering a non-denominational Bible study on Wednesdays.

There are two identical sessions, 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. It is a 30-week study that will go through the entire Bible. All are invited to take part in this discussion-based study.

The textbook is "Discovering the Bible: A New Generation." The text is used by a number of denominations.

The class itself is free, but the text required, and can be purchased from the Church for $30 (or $1 per session). A study Bible is recommended.

More information is available from Dr Paul Champion, senior minister at First Christian.

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is located at 110 S. Indiana St. in Greencastle, across from the Greencastle Fire Station.

Handicapped access is available from the parking lot entrance on the north side of the building, plus a wheelchair ramp directly into the sanctuary from Poplar Street.

For more information, interested persons may call 653-3146 or go to www.firstchristiangreencastle.org, facebook.com /firstchristiangreencastle or e-mail fccdoc@cinergymetro.net.
