Gobble-uns weekend at Lieber SRA , Oct. 19

CLOVERDALE -- Lieber State Recreation Area will host Gobble-uns Weekend, featuring campsite decorating, crafts and trick-or-treating on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Scheduled activities are include:

-- 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.: Hayrides at the campground parking lot; $1 per person.

-- 10 a.m.: Pumpkin decorating; $1 per pumpkin.

-- Noon: Leaf print T-shirts; bring your own T-shirt.

-- 1 p.m.: Pumpkin rolling contest.

-- 2 p.m.: Decorate a trick-or-treat bag.

-- 3 p.m.: Halloween craft; one per child.

-- 5:30-7 p.m.: Trick-or-treating in the campground.

-- 6:30 p.m.: Campsite decorating contest judging.

-- 7 p.m.: Awards for campsite decorating contest winners.

Camping reservations can be made at Camp.IN.gov or at 866-622-6746.

The standard admission fee of $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle will apply.
