Yard waste site closing for season Oct. 30

The Greencastle/Putnam County yard waste site will be closing on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Residents should take advantage of the warm weather to clean up any remaining yard trimmings or storm debris before the site closes for the season.

The site, located west of Greencastle southwest of Greencastle and west of South Jackson Street, will reopen in April 2.

For a complete list of items accepted, persons can check out West Central Solid Waste District's website at www.westcentralswd.com.

Residents may call the district office with specific questions at 653-2150.

Businesses are prohibited from using the yard waste site.
