Suzanne E. McFarland

Suzanne E. McFarland, 68, Lake Holiday, went to be with The Lord on Thursday morning, Oct. 24, 2103 in her home after faithfully fighting her battle with cancer.

She was born Feb. 5, 1945 in Indianapolis to Jesse and Helen (Maxfield) Winters.

She married Rev. Glen McFarland on Jan. 1, 1963 in Bainbridge. He survives.

Mrs. McFarland was a homemaker. Suzy devoted her life to caring for her family, home and friends.

She was a 1962 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from cosmetology school in Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Harvest Fellowship Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Lisa McFarland, Milford, Del., Brian (Tracey) McFarland, Vevay, Tammy (Dave) McGaughey, Waveland; and Amy (John) Copner, Zionsville. She is also survived by her brother, Steven (Marilyn) Winters, Rockville; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was selected with a memorial service being conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 in the Harvest Fellowship Church, 1618 W. CR 500 South, near New Market, with Rev. Alan Sparks officiating.

The family will greet friends on Sunday at the church from 1-5 p.m.
