With unique items like dollhouse-size toy barns created by Mike Black of Coatesville or yard art made from old metal hand tools at Pap's Metal Yard Art booth, the 35th annual Putnam County Extension Homemakers Past Presidents Club Arts and Crafts Show drew a large crowd to the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building Saturday. Black displays his colorful barns, pitching the idea that toy barns are for both girls and boys. Meanwhile, customers Betty Perry (in red) of Greencastle and Kim Parent of Brazil check out Pap's booth as co-owner John Crosby of Greencastle looks on. More than 65 booths or tables offered handcrafted items such as Christmas ornaments and decorations, wooden toys, quilts, jewelry and baked goods. The show ended its two-day run Saturday.
