Walter Richard Wright, 75, passed away on Oct. 25, 2013 at his home in North Little Rock, Ark.

A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Clinton Falls Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.

Walter was born in Terre Haute on May 16, 1939.

He graduated from Greencastle High School, and went on to serve 20 distinguished years in the United States Air Force.

After retiring from military service he worked for the Veterans Affairs Hospital in North Little Rock, Ark., where he retired after 25 years.

He enjoyed reading, and going to the movies.

Walter is survived by his three children, sons Ed Wright and his wife Deanna from Highlandville, Mo., Scott Wright and his wife Colleen from Waupaca, Wis., and daughter Cindy Wright from Fort Worth, Texas; his eight grandchildren, Joshua, Jon, Delan, Brandy, Donna, Zachery, Kylie, and Gabriel; his three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kaiden and Braylon, and many friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his mother Marie and stepfather Donald Dickey.
