Bonnie L. Sowder

Bonnie L. Sowder, 68, of Bainbridge, passed away at her residence on Thursday Nov. 7, 2013.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1944 to Cecil J. and Margaret Catherine Reynolds Cloncs.

She worked for 30 years at TDS Telecom in Roachdale and was the singer for the "Just for Kicks Band" for eight years.

She was a member of the Groveland Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Roachdale Canasta Club, Roachdale Euchre Club, and played cards with the Greencastle Eagles euchre group.

She married Phil L. Sowder on March 17, 1963 at Roachdale. He survives.

Other survivors include daughters Pamela Gardner and husband James of Lizton, and Melissa Conover and husband Chris of St. Paul, Ind.; grandson Dustin Gardner and wife Brittany of Danville, granddaughter Sammi Jo Gardner of Lizton, grandson Jeremy Conover of St. Paul, granddaughter Catherine Sowder; great-grandson Branson Cass; aunt Marge Gibbs of Reston, Va., aunt Louvenia Reynolds of Pittsboro, aunt Charlotte Reynolds of Phoenix, Ariz., aunt Barbara Henderson and husband Jerry of Avon; brother Richard Cloncs and wife Annie of Roachdale, brother-in-law Steve Sowder and wife Kay of Crawfordsville, brother-in-law Joe Sowder and wife Carolyn of Indianapolis, brother-in-law Kenny Sowder of Lebanon, brother-in-law Tim Sowder and wife Rendy of Avon; sister-in-law Velma Peterson and husband Jeff of Indianapolis, sister-in-law Eunice Oliver and husband John of Pittsboro, 21 nieces and nephews, 29 great-nieces and nephews, 17 great-great-nieces and nephews and 27 cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with visitation on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Rev. Zandell Hasty will officiate.

Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
