Light Bright

The dozen new ornamental streetlights along the East Washington Street corridor between Vine and Bloomington streets in Greencastle were illuminated for the first time Thursday night as the streetscape project nears an end. Installation of the streetlights, which match those already in place downtown, was completed by the James Drew Corp., Indianapolis. The project also included new sidewalks, curbs, drainage improvements and 15 new street trees within the same area.
