Local artists set art sale at county museum Nov. 23

Several artists, many from the former Studio B in Greencastle, will be selling their artwork at the Putnam County Museum on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The special sale is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A selection of unique pieces will be available, just in time for the holidays.

The museum is currently featuring Emily Wilson: Rural to Sublime, Small Towns of Putnam County, Auto Indiana (a traveling exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society) and Rissler Family Artifacts, along with several other exhibits on display.

Local artists participating in the sale will include Lisa Cooper, Rachel Curtis, Stu Fabe, Barb Fuson, Marla Helton, Jennifer Herrold, Lance Myers, Jessie Scott, Barbara South, Lynne Tweedie and Heidi Warren.

The Putnam County Museum is located at 1105 N. Jackson St. in Greencastle. Visitors are invited to become members of the museum during its membership drive this fall.

The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 1-4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
