Harry 'Butch' Junior Kirton Il

Harry "Butch" Junior Kirton II, 48, of Brazil passed away Saturday, Nov.16, 2013 at home with family and friends after a year battle with cancer.

Butch was born March 27, 1965, the son of the late Harry J and Lillie F. (Thomas) Kirton.

He was a 1983 graduate of Brazil High School, a Disabled American veteran of Desert Storm and employed by Great Dane for the last 19 years.

Harry was a member of Brazil Masonic Lodge 264 F & AM, the fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 274, and American Legion Post 2.

Butch loved fishing, camping, amusement parks, sci-fi movies and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and maternal grandmother; Mable Thomas.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years; Victoria M. "Vikki" (Franc) Kirton; children Fairren Franc (Mike Carroll), Kayla Nevins (Rob Hanson), Ashton Kirton and Corben Kirton; grandchildren Matthew, Kyndrah and Nathan; brothers David (Barbara) Kirton and Michael Kirton; mother-in-law and father-in-law; Gene and Kay Okulovich; brother-in-law Wesley Okulovich, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Nov. 22 at the Knightsville Masonic Lodge, 10185 N. County Road 100 East, from 2-8 p.m. with Masonic service at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Southern Care Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
