Library to host 'A Place at the Table' film screening Tuesday, Dec. 3

Sunday, November 24, 2013

On Tuesday, Dec. 3 the Putnam County Public Library will be partnering with the Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University to screen the popular documentary, "A Place at the Table," at 6:30 p.m.

The screening, followed by a brief discussion, will take place in the Library's Kiwanis Room.

Currently, one-in-four children in America live without knowing from where their next meal may come. The documentary, "A Place at the Table," follows four families struggling with finding meals and presents solutions the federal government could make to end hunger and food inequality.

The screening is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be available.
