American Pie

In appreciation of the efforts of Putnam County Hospital staff, Hickory Creek at Sunset resident Karen Coon presents a homemade pie to Becky Hutcheson of the PCH Cancer Center staff Tuesday morning. Dressed as pilgrims or Native Americans for the Thanksgiving holiday are Hickory Creek staff members (from left) MDS Coordinator Christina Burk, Assistant Administrator Lauren Prifogle, Director of Nursing Joy Lee and Social Service Director Luanne Walker. Coon, whose husband was cared for in the PCH Cancer Center, won a poetry contest at Hickory Creek and included one of her poems with each pie delivered to doctors, nurses, the Senior Center and other local agencies.
