Eleanor Jane Aker

Eleanor Jane Aker, 81, Indianapolis, was ushered into the presence of her lord and savior Jesus Christ from her daughter's home on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013.

Jane was a blessing to her two daughters, Pam and Cindy; son-in-law; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. She helped all five of her grandchildren go to college.

Jane was married to the late Robert Aker for 38 years but was a widow for 25 years.

Jane spent her school days in Greencastle, raised her children in Mooresville, and retired near her daughters in Indianapolis. She loved flower gardening, oil painting, and classic movies. Jane will be greatly missed by her family and faithful friend and caregiver, Mary.

Immediate family and friends had a private service to honor Jane and thank God for her life.
