Saturday, November 30, 2013

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Chief's Restaurant will host its Christmas Extravaganza to benefit the local Coats for Kids campaign.

Several local musicians will be on hand during dinner hours, and 15 percent of proceeds from the event will be donated to the program.

Music will run from 6:30-8 p.m. and will feature Bobbie Lancaster, Gus Moon, Eric Edberg and the DePauw Cellos, Carly Rhine, Rick Barcus with Glen Furr and Ed Kirkpatrick.

There will also be a holiday sweater contest during the event.

"Wear your best or worst Christmas sweater, as a $25 Chief's gift card will go to our favorite," Chief's owner Steve Gaebes said.

Anyone is invited to enjoy a meal at Chief's and support Coats for Kids on Dec. 3 for lunch or dinner.

Gaebes invites anyone taking part in the evening festivities to come early and stay late.
