Stand Up and Holler

The Greencastle High School varsity cheerleaders advanced to the recent Indiana Cheer Championship State Finals at Southport High School in Indianapolis after competing in the preliminary round of the competition. The GHS cheerleaders had a strong 2:30 competition routine that placed them fifth in the state in the Varsity C Division. The divisions are based on school size. It marks the highest placement for GHS in state competition, varsity cheer coach Paige Tesmer reported.
