Hannelore Elisabeth Kirton, 69 Coolidge, Ariz., formerly of Cloverdale, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at Coolidge, Arizona.

She was born on July 14, 1944 in Marburg, Germany, and was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Elsie Gerdrude (Nettermann) Bindeburg.

She married James Eugene Kirton on Aug. 22, 1981. They moved to the United States and lived in several different states while her husband served our country in the U.S. Army before settling in Coolidge.

She was very well known for her baking, having made custom cakes for weddings and birthdays. Very crafty, she created many different gifts with a sewing machine and enjoyed working plastic canvas.

Hummingbirds were her favorite to collect.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, James Eugene Kirton, Coolidge, Ariz.; her children, Manuela Jacobs and husband James, Springfield, Va., Delores Brusco, Rineyville, Ky., Tammy Cole and husband Mark, Cloverdale, and James Kirton and wife Katherine, Canal Winchester, Ohio; her sister, Elita Zimmerman, Marburg, Germany, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Cloverdale Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemarie Bowers, and her brother, Pater Netterman.
