LittleRaccoon Regional Waste District considers sewer surcharge

Little Raccoon Regional Waste District will hold a public hearing on Saturday, Dec. 21 to consider an additional surcharge for customers.

The 10:30 a.m. meeting at the Waveland Town Hall will immediately follow the regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m.

The waste district is considering an additional monthly surcharge for its municipal sewer customers to recover the cost of improvements to the system.

Waveland Town Hall is located at 108 W. Howard St., Waveland.

The Little Raccoon Regional Waste District hosts meetings at 10 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month, meeting at the Russellville Community Center in January through June and at the Waveland Town Hall from July through December.

The public is welcome to these open meetings.
