PUTNAMVILLE -- Indiana State Police troopers from the Putnamville Post report responding to various weather-related calls for service since Thursday morning.

Troopers have responded to 39 reported slide-offs within the district along with three personal-injury accidents (all believed minor) and nine property-damage mishaps.

Putnamville personnel also assisted with six mechanically disabled vehicles.

The major problem areas have been along Interstate 70 from the Illinois state line east across all of Putnam County to the 58-mile marker, U.S. 40 east of Terre Haute, and U.S. 41 in southern Parke County.

The largest concentration of I-70 calls emanated from the area between the 11-mile marker in Vigo County and the 42-mile marker (a mile east of Cloverdale) in Putnam County.

The three personal injury crashes all occurred on I-70 with one each in Putnam (34-mile marker), Clay (17-mile marker) and Vigo (1-mile marker) counties.
