Mary Sharlene Brown

Mary Sharlene Brown, 64, Cloverdale, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on June 29, 1949 in Indianapolis and was the daughter of the late Rondell J. and Allie Mae (Carter) Creek.

She was a homemaker.

She married Charles Edward Brown on Dec. 6, 1965 and he survives.

She is also survived by her children, Lillie Helton and husband Terry of Cloverdale, Michelle Nicholson and husband Robbie of Cloverdale and Charlie Brown Jr. and wife Dawn of Cloverdale; sister Theresa Cornette of Indianapolis; brother Gary Creek and wife Penny of Plainfield; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Arvina Beller and her brothers Wayne Creek and James Creek.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
