I-70 westbound at Cloverdale closed

According to Putnam County Emergency Operations Center, the westbound lanes of I-70 at Cloverdale is shut down due to multiple accidents.

Traffic is being diverted to U.S. 231 and U.S. 40, backups are expected. All drivers are warned to use extreme caution and watch for slow and stopped traffic.

  • SLOW DOWN WHEN ITS SNOWING!!!!This snow is just as slick as it was the last one we got. My 4x4 goes just as good as yours they wont stop any quicker.

  • And please remember to turn on your headlights. Visibility is very low today. I just got in off the road and the cars with no lights were numerous and very hard to see.
