CLOVERDALE -- Endeavor Communications strives to help its members succeed. One way is by helping to further the education of area youth in the form of scholarships and youth tours.

Endeavor will be awarding 12 Cedric Ray Memorial scholarships for $1,000 each to graduating seniors enrolled in a college, university or trade school. Applications must be submitted by March 14.

Endeavor also continues to partner with the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), which awards 30 scholarships at $2,500 each and four scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each. They are given to graduating seniors pursuing a higher education. Those applications need to be postmarked by March 3.

Endeavor, in conjunction with the FRS, will also be sending two students to Washington, D.C.

The Youth Tour is for students 16 or 17 years of age. Students will tour several historical monuments, learn about the telecommunications industry, and watch our legislative and governmental processes at work. Applications must be submitted to Endeavor by April 1.
