Douglas grabs player of the week honors
DePauw junior guard Hannah Douglas (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton) was recognized as this week's North Coast Athletic Conference Women's basketball player of the week after her performances in two Tiger victories last week.
Douglas posted her DePauw Tiger career high with 17 points in the 59-38 win over Wittenberg and followed it up with a 15-point, four assist performance against Ohio Wesleyan. She has now scored in double-figures for the past three games averaging 16.0 points, shooting 60.7 percent (17-28) from the floor including 6-10 from three point land.
The top-ranked Tigers remained undefeated after knocking off two conference opponents last week. Douglas led all scorers in both wins and helped DePauw climb back from a 15-point deficit to beat Ohio Wesleyan 76-61.
DePauw hosts Oberlin Wednesday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
