Marjorie Elizabeth Wilson, 91, of Roachdale, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.

Marjorie was born in Roachdale on Sept. 20, 1922, to Roy and Neva McFerran Bymaster.

She graduated from Ladoga High School in 1940.

After attending business college in Indianapolis, Marjorie worked at R.R. Donnelly's and Allison Division of General Motors.

Following a three-year long engagement while he served in the 13th Army Air Corps in the South Pacific, she married Joseph Riggle Wilson of Bainbridge on Dec. 15, 1945. They lived and worked on their family dairy farm outside Bainbridge from 1946 until his death on April 17, 1987.

Marjorie remained on the family farm, hosting family gatherings and joyous visits from her grandchildren, until moving to Roachdale in 2002.

Marjorie was a lifelong member of Roachdale Christian Church and past member of the Groveland Homemakers Club.

Marjorie cherished her years on the farm. She always greeted everyone and every day with a smile.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister Margaret, and brother Jackie Ray, both in infancy, and brother Glen Bymaster.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Susan (Keith) Craft of Roachdale, Larry (Dawna) Wilson of Greencastle, and son David (Anne) Wilson of Franklin; nine grandchildren, Kevin Craft, Cynthia (Kevin) Marquis, Dylan (Tracey), Paul (Kelsi), Sean, Kate, Emily, Claire and Clark Wilson; a great-grandchild, Finn Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may call on Friday, Jan. 31 from 5-8 p.m. at the Roachdale Christian Church.

Services will be held at Roachdale Christian Church on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. with Mick Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at Roachdale Cemetery.
