Alice D. "Ali" Wood of Crawfordsville passed away in her home Tuesday night, Feb. 4, 2014 at the age of 68.

She was a beautician for many years. She was a member of the Eagles, Legion, Moose and VFW, as well as the VFW Auxiliary.

She attended the Alamo school.

Born Dec. 7, 1945 in Crawfordsville she was the daughter of Norris Wright and Marjorie Wright, but was adopted and raised by her stepfather, Raymond Keller.

She married Bobby Joe Wood on March 23, 1964 in Sterling, Ind. He passed away Sept. 8, 2012.

Survivors include; a daughter, Bobbi (Charlie) Boller of Bainbridge; a son, Christopher (Sondra) Wood of Waynetown; two stepsons, Jeffrey Wood of South Dakota and Mark (Sue) Wood of Zionsville; a brother, Martin (Ginger) Keller of Crawfordsville; and four sisters, Patricia (Ray) Utterback of Nashville, Ind., Martha (Larry) Taylor of Alamo, Jane (Gene) Mariott of Waynetown, and Polly (Randy) Britto of Arizona.

She had 11 grandchildren, Josh, Sarah, Kelly, Jessica, Daniel, Amber, Cameron, Lacey, Chryston, Kelsey and Tenna; eight great-grandchildren, Taelyn, Brantley, Payton, Charis, Athena, Devry, Addison, Jacey and one on the way quite soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public visitation. Private family graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery South, Crawfordsville.
