The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department has announced a Create-a-Valentine workshop set for Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Youngsters from kindergarten age through fifth grade are invited to the Putnam County Museum from 4-6 p.m. to create a valentine for that special someone.

There will be examples on hand or participants can use their imagination and create a card, card box or present for someone special.

The Parks Department has emptied its craft closet to get ready for this event. Cardstock, construction paper, stickers, glue, ribbon and more will be available.

Cost of the program is $5 per youth. Registration forms are available at Greencastle City Hall, Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry, the Putnam County Museum and in the children's section of the Putnam County Public Library.
