Cookies on Ice

Friday, February 7, 2014
With no threat of Thin Mints melting in Thursday morning's single-digit temperatures, area Girl Scout troop leaders pick up cases of Girl Scout cookies at the Storehouse Church off Westlane Road south of Greencastle. Troop leaders Jennifer Romalia and Felicia Romalia (left) look on as workmen from Planes United Delivery, Indianapolis, load Felicia Romalia's vehicle with 57 cases of cookies destined for Troop 02588, Tzouanakis Intermediate School. Loading up the Romalia vehicle by transferring cases from the semi are (from right) Terry Dixon, Brock Riopel and Ray Davis. The cookies will be passed along to individual scouts to deliver to those who have ordered them.
