Joe W. Meador

Joe W. Meador, 74, Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 in Sun City, Fla.

He was born June 2, 1939 in Westmoreland, Tenn., to Burton Meador and Hazel Kepley Meador.

Joe was an avid boater and fisherman and a lifetime member of the National Fishing Association.

He was a concrete contractor for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Denise "Dee" Meador, sister Lois and brothers Charles, Robert and Junior.

A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Hide-A-Way in Ruskin, Fla.

No flowers are requested, but contributions may be made to Dee Meador, 2206 Chaney Dr. No. 492, Ruskin, FL 33570.
