Carolyn Sue Readnour Herpolsheimer

Carolyn Sue Readnour Herpolsheimer, 75, of Hymera, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at her residence.

Formerly from Greencastle, Carolyn worked for several years at Central National Bank. She retired from IBM in 1993.

Carolyn was born March 31, 1938 in Hartsville to Oscar Francis Readnour and Ruth Evelyn (Foster) Readnour Horwath. She was a 1955 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School.

She is survived by her husband, David N. Herpolsheimer, whom she married Jan. 2, 1987; daughters Rhonda Miller (Mike Malasek), Tresha Clearwaters (Kyle), Alyson Stahl and Jody Heeter (Kevin), grandchildren Angie Schlitzer (Michael), Derek Miller (Meghan), Jason Clearwaters (Amanda), Amy Coons (Jerry), Kelly Stahl and Cory Stahl; great-grandchildren, Brody Schlitzer, Morghan Miller, Meredith Clearwaters, Natalee Clearwaters, Cale Coons and Kynlie Coons; sister-in-law Janice Konsler; and nephews Joseph and Jeffrey Konsler.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Ruth Evelyn Lickliter.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle at noon on Saturday, March 8.
