Robert L. VanCleave

Robert L. VanCleave, 87, of Carmel, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.

He was born Dec. 28, 1926 in Bainbridge to the late Orval and Ruth Lewman VanCleave.

He was a 1945 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Before retiring in 1997, Robert was employed with Goodman Jewelers.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Charlyene; sons Chris (Lisa) and Dean (Linda); grandchildren Jared, Karli, Terra (Kurtis) and Blake.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Mark VanCleave.

A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. in Bussell Family Funerals, Carmel. Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery.
