Saturday, February 15, 2014

MAXC Racing held its 2013 awards banquet Saturday evening at Bradford Woods. Sixteen-year-old Jonah Jones-Stevens placed third place overall in points in the First Year Adult quad class against 47 other racers.

Jonah is known as Mr. Consistent by his racing friends.

Each season is composed of 10 races run throughout the state between April and November. Racers earn points at each race by how they have raced that day.

After the season, the drivers are honored with a banquet.

Jonah's mother Kelli and grandparents Norma and Paul Nauman were on hand for the occasion. Jonah is a sophomore at Greencastle High School.
