GMS wrestlers move to 3-1

SPENCER -- With a dominant win over Owen Valley, the Greencastle Middle School wrestling team improved its record to 3-1 on the young season.

The Tiger Cubs defeated the Patriots 92-12.

Donovan Asbell, Keaton Boswell, Cauy Thomas, Nick Sabin, Damon Moody, Jacob Meyer, Austin Huffman, Brayden Bollman, Cade Winslow and Braden Lady all won in their weight class.

Additionally, Mark Roberts, Jake Overstreet, Ashton Burchett, Ethan Tuggle, Trace Thomas, Hector Lezama and Trey Adams won by forfeit.

Greencastle is back on the mats on Monday, Feb. 17, traveling to North Putnam for a 6 p.m. match.
