John Alden Curtis

John Alden Curtis, 85, Greenville, S.C., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at his home.

Born Feb. 4, 1929 in Greencastle, he was the son of the late Ansel Jennings and Pina Mae Neier Curtis.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Coatesville Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorthy A. Dudley Curtis; daughters Dawn A. Juchum (Tom) and Julie A. Harr (Brian); grandchildren John Juchum, Charity Campbell (Capt. J. Mark), Faith Juchum, Heather Harr and Hannah Harr.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Priscilla B. Hillary and Virginia L. Fisher.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Coatesville Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Coatesville Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Stilesville Cemetery.
