Foul play not suspected in death of Putnam County man

Police are investigating the death of a Putnam County man after he was found dead on his bedroom floor Wednesday afternoon.

A family member found 57-year-old Kevin D. Carr deceased inside the home at 6966 N. CR 490 West, Greencastle. He is believed to have died a few hours earlier.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department initiated the investigation, later calling for Indiana State Police assistance at the residence just south of Morton.

Foul play is not suspected and an autopsy was to be conducted Thursday at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

In addition to the two law enforcement agencies, the Putnam County Coroner's Office is also investigating the incident.
