Good Citizens

North Putnam Middle School students (from left) Camryn Albers, Katie Gilliam and Grant Hoke, posing with Principal Terry Tippin, have been honored with VFW Good Citizenship Awards presented recently by Roachdale VFW Post 3284. The post awards a total of nine students from the middle school for outstanding citizenship. In recognition, each student receives a plaque displaying his/her name. The individuals, selected by their teachers for exemplary citizenship, are models of a strong work ethic, an apparent value for education and pride in their school. Recipients for September, October and November are sixth-grader Camryn Albers, daughter of Tresa Bonifacius and Aaron Albers; seventh-grader Grant Hoke, son of Mark and Jennifer Hoke; and eighth-grader Katie Gilliam, daughter of Ryan and Sarah Gilliam.
