Chili Supper Kickoff

The American Red Cross recently announced its annual chili supper and auction on Friday, Feb. 28 at the National Guard Armory. The event will go from 6-8 p.m. with a free will offering at the door. Chili, cornbread, dessert and drinks will be served. There will also be special performances by War Radio, emcee and DJ Mike Welsh of Sounds Unlimited. Agencies involved with the chili supper are the Greencastle Fire Department, Putnam County Operation Life, Greencastle Police Department, Putnam County Sheriff's Department, Putnam County Emergency Management, United Way and the Putnam County Community Foundation. Chili and cornbread is sponsored by The Waters of Greencastle, drinks sponsored by Putnam Inn and desserts are sponsored by Delta Theta Tau sorority. Among the silent auction items available in the silent auction include an autographed football by the Colts, Indiana Fever autographed shoe, Jameson Coffee, Indianapolis Children's Museum tickets, DePauw University items and much more.
