James Bashford Johnson Jr.

James B. Johnson Jr., 66, of St. Pete Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully on Feb. 18, 2014 at home.

He was born on March 5, 1947 in Greencastle, Ind., to James B. Johnson Sr. and Martha Ellen Rector Johnson.

Jim grew up in Greencastle and graduated from Greencastle High School in 1965.

He graduated from Princeton University as a religion major. He then attended Case Western Reserve Medical School.

He practiced Family Medicine in New Jersey for 35 years, and then retired to Florida in 2011.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet Kocisko Johnson; daughters Ana Krista Johnson and Jennifer Moyse; sisters Sally Ann Ross and Kate Johnson Rader; brother Charles R. Johnson and three grandchildren.

Private services will be conducted at a later date.
