Natoma Jane Ray, 81, Sand Springs, Okla., formerly of Poland and Indianapolis, passed away on Feb. 21, 2014, at the Sands Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Sand Springs, Okla.

She was born Aug. 15, 1932 at Oxford, Miss., and was the daughter of the late William Byron and Annie Mae (Barrow) Stroup.

She married Ollen Clayton Ray on Sept. 30, 1950, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2009.

She was a licensed practical nurse at the Riley Hospital, Indianapolis.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Jane Cutting, Indianapolis, Douglas Clayton Ray, Poland, William Stanley Ray and wife Karen, Martinsville, and Marcus Kevin Ray and wife Mary Ann, Sand Springs, Okla.;

her sister, Gendolyn Hall, Germantown, Tenn.; five grandchildren, three (soon to be four) great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Floral Park Cemetery.
