Matthews - 90th Birthday

In celebration of Robert "Bob" Matthews' 90th birthday, a reception, open to friends and family, will be held Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 p.m. in the main dining room at Asbury Towers, W. 102 Poplar St., Greencastle.

Please no gifts. Cards and well wishes welcome.

For decades, Bob, was an active downtown merchant, as president and owner of Prevo's store, the current location of Eli's Books and Starbucks.

Come meet and greet the Matthews family: daughter Mindy Matthews of Orlando, Fla., son Dwight Matthews and wife Ellen of Burlington, Vt., grandson Tom Matthews and wife Kaitlin Strauss and great-grandson Robert "Robbie" Earl Matthews of Durham, N.C.; and grandson Ben Matthews and wife Kathleen of Williston, Vt.
