Activist, veteran Bratton to speak to Defenders of Liberty

Jim Bratton, a resident of Evansville, will be the guest speaker at the Greencastle Defenders of Liberty meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10 at the Putnam County Airport, Dixie Chopper Business Center, 102 Ballard Lane.

Bratton is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the United States Navy with Fighter Squadron VF-101.

Bratton has been a grassroots activist since the beginning of the Tea Party movement in 2009. He received special awards from Americans for Prosperity and the Heritage Foundation in 2010.

He is a state coordinator for Tea Party Patriots and is on the board of directors of Hoosier Patriots, Inc.

Bratton also writes a weekly commentary as editorial director for the "Hoosier Patriots' Monday Morning Newswire" online.

He considers himself a patriot and supports the Founding Fathers' plan and vision for this country, originating in the Declaration of Independence and administered by the United States Constitution. He remains active in the Tea Party movement for constitutional governance today.

The public is invited to attend this and every monthly meeting.
