Mardi Gras masks will be in vogue when Girl Scout Service Unit 184 has its annual Masquerade Father/Daughter Dance Friday, March 14 at the Greencastle Armory.

Girl Scout Service Unit 184 will stage its annual Masquerade Father/Daughter Dance on Friday, March 14 at the Greencastle Armory.

The dance is open to all girls pre K-8 and their dates (dads, grandpa or favorite adult guest). The event is set for 6-9 p.m.

Besides coming all decked out in their favorite masquerade mask, the girls and their dads or dates will enjoy dinner (homemade lasagna, salad and breadsticks), dancing (DJ by Digital Sounds) and photos.

Cost of the entire evening is $5 per person (with discounts for multi-child families).

Those attending are asked to bring a new pair of socks or gloves as the girls will be collecting those items for a community service project, along with raising funds to enable having more events such as trips and camp for the Girl Scouts of Service Unit 184.

For more information, persons may contact Service Unit 184 manager Crystal Stonebraker at 247-8680 or volunteer Patty Spencer at 721-4231.
