Cloverdale FFA members reap awards at District 7 contest

Cloverdale High School FFA members took home numerous awards at the recent District 7 FFA Leadership Contest.

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale High School FFA fared well in competition at the District 7 FFA Leadership Contest Wednesday night.

"We are blessed to have a great set of students to work with this year that put in countless hours in preparation," CHS adviser Tiffany Douglass praised.

Cloverdale FFA results were:

-- District 7 Star in Ag Placement: Heather Goss.

-- First place and state qualifier: Kelsey Nees, Hannah Monnett, Food Science Demo.

-- First place and state qualifier: Christine McCammack, Multi-media scrapbook.

-- First place and state qualifier: Ryan Heavener, Chrystin Willis, Hannah Monnett, Sadie McKinney, Quiz Bowl.

-- First place and state qualifier: Taylor Goss, Discovery Degree Demo No. 2.

-- First place and state qualifier: Kyle Manion, Prepared Public Speaking.

-- First place: Kyle Manion, Talent.

-- First place and state qualifier: Heather Goss, Ag Sales Demo.

-- First place and state qualifier: Riley Canfield, Extemporaneous Public Speaking.

-- First place and state qualifier: Heather Goss, Job Interview.

-- Second place: Harley Manion, Ag Mechanics Demo.

-- Second place: Reagan Ladd, Mackinzie Willis, Discovery Degree Demo No. 1.

-- Second place: Malaressa Patton, Discovery Degree Prepared Public Speaking.

-- Second place: Heather Goss, Ag Ambassador.

-- Second place: RT Mann, Ag Farm and Business Management Demo.

-- Second place: Kelsey Nees, Creed.
