Rescued Treasures

Rescued Treasures conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to celebrate the opening of its new location in the old Marsh shopping center on Indianapolis Road. Rescued Treasures is staffed by volunteers from the Humane Society of Putnam County and will have a grand-opening celebration on Sunday, March 16 from 1-4 p.m. Hours of operation for business and donations are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Holding the ribbon for the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce event are Chamber President Bret Hurley (left) and Executive Director Tammy Johnson (right). In attendance for the occasion were (front) Doris Miller, Humane Society past president Lynn Bohmer, President and store manager Sandra Grimes, Treasurer Don Williams, Vice President Monica Sargent, Ann Clark, Bette Bruner with dog Reuben and Chamber Vice President Beth Flint. Also on hand were Humane Society Secretary Bonnie Nealon, Martie Roof, Barb Jackson, Mike Clampitt, Francis Washburn, John Bossnack, Mary Webster, Lola Hutson and Maureen Wagner.
