Melody Ann Truesdale

Melody Ann Truesdale, 56, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.

Born Oct. 19, 1957 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Robert Weir Thompson and Alice Pauline Palmer.

Melody had worked with comprehensive services in housekeeping at the Green Acres Residence Home.

She is survived by her mother, Alice Palmer; a son, Uriah Stetzer; sisters Tina (Keith) Johnston, Mary (Kent) Williams and Roberta (Bob) Kimball Simpson; brothers Randy Thompson and Steve (Annette) Thompson; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Michelle Selby.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with interment to follow at New Providence Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 14 at the funeral home.
