The Indy Blazers took runner-up in the 3A bracket at the National Christian Home Schooled bracket this weekend. The team features local home schooled girls and earned their berth to the national tournament by winning the Midwest Regional tournament. In nationals, the Indy Blazers beat a team from Georgia 68-39 before losing to New Way from Texas, 77-66. The Blazers were led in scoring all season by senior Dani Brewer with 19 points per game. They are now playing for the Silver Ball tomorrow against Memphis FCA at 6:15 p.m. Team members include (front, from left) Sydney Buis, Shelby Hamilton, Ally Goble, (back) Tim Jenson, Julianne Watson, Crystal Plasters, Randi Ohler, Allysa Poer, RJ Riepe, Dani Brewer, Jess Brunning, Ciera Stayton and Don Brewer.
