Reelsville Water Authority boil order lifted

Monday, March 31, 2014

The Reelsville Water Authority announced Friday that a boil order advisory that has been in effect since Tuesday, April 1 has been lifted.

Affected customers have been those from the southeast side of Manhattan all the way to water authority customers in Cloverdale.

A new water line was installed at the Deer Creek crossing, prompting the need for a boil order.

A spokesman for the Reelsville Water Authority said Friday afternoon that two samples have come back clean, allowing the boil order to be lifted.
