Culinary arts students to host Ivy Gallery luncheon

A spring Ivy Gallery luncheon, created and served by the award-winning Area 30 Career Center culinary arts students, is scheduled for Friday, April 11.

Seating at the Ivy Gallery, located within the career center in the old IBM building off Indianapolis Road at Calbert Way, will begin at noon and run until 1 p.m.

The final Ivy Gallery luncheon of the school year is open to the public by reservations only. Persons are asked to RSVP only by April 9 by calling 653-3515 or sending an email to mbirt@area30.k12.in.us.

Instructor Mary Anne Birt said persons may call or email for the menu.

Cost of the lunch is $10.75 for a three-course gourmet meal which includes dessert, drink and tax.

Birt's culinary arts students recently captured a state title and will be going to a national competition in Minneapolis later this spring.
