Greencastle French students succeed at state competition
Greencastle French students recently traveled to Cathedral High School in Indianapolis for the Congres State French Contest.
They competed against 10 other schools, including private and large 5A schools.
Greencastle excelled in many areas of the competition with 22 GHS students participating in the events and winning a total of 36 awards. In total, the students participated in 13 different categories.
The contest is held each year and it is open to all French students in the state. Greencastle High School has hosted the contest five times.

Vocabulary -- Level I, Nick Seaman, first place, and Cecilia Pohlar, second; Level II, Catie Anderson, third.
