Civic League's annual flower sale to aid Splash Park effort

Sunday, May 4, 2014

The Greencastle Civic League is selling both annual and perennial flowers to support the organization's missions.

The Civic League reports that its current project, the Bob York Memorial Splash Park, is under construction at Robe-Ann Park with a summer grand opening planned.

Although the construction phase has begun, the Civic League is still continuing fundraising efforts to complete the capital campaign and purchase additional water features for the park as well as complete its endowment fundraising goal of $12,000.

Residents are asked to consider ordering flowers to help build the best park possible. Those not interested in purchasing flowers but who would like to make a donation to the splash park may contact Suzanne Masten at suzannemasten@gmail.com or 653-5167.
