HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Led by Kelsey Smith's second-round 80, DePauw shot a 329 on the second round of competition at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on the El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn and Resort on Thursday.

Weather delays led to suspension of play due to darkness with 12 of the 21 teams still on the course, but the teams finished this morning.

Paige Gooch continues to pace the Tigers with a 160 after shooting 83 on Wednesday and is in 18th place.

Alexandria Ramirez is tied for 23rd at 163 following a second-round 82. With her 80, Smith moved into a tie for 43rd with a two-round 168. Sheinnera Gerongay is tied for 49th at 169 and Kenzlie Westerfield is tied for 64th at 177.

Rhodes continues to lead the team competition with a 634 with Texas-Tyler in second at 639 and Mary Hardin-Baylor in third with a 641. Georgiana Salant of Williams is the individual leader.

This eighth place finish comes after Gooch shot a 77 to lead the Lady Tigers to an opening-round sixth palce finish after the first day of the NCAA Division III women's golf Tournament on Tuesday.

DePauw is making its 13th appearance in the Division III Championships all consecutive since 2002 with only Methoidist appearing in more (15). The Tigers have posted nine top-five finishes including three runner-up performances.
