Greencastle Golf beats Owen Valley

The Greencastle boys' golf team handled Owen Valley on Thursday.

The 161-186 victoryover the Patriots came on senior night for teh Tiger Cubs.

Greencastle was led in scoring by Alec Davis, who shot an even par of 35. Luke Brotherton was second in scoring and he shot a 39. Jake Buis, Tanner Dean and Carl Basile all shot under 50 with 43, 44, and 45 respectively.

Jonah Stevens, Tyler Scott and Mitchell Johnson rounded the score out with 50, 53 and 67 respectively.

The Tiger Cubs have one more match before the postseason. That match will be at county rival South Putnam. They will then join the Eagles and North Putnam in the Crawfordsville sectional, while Cloverdale will play in the Martinsville sectional.
